Ok I went to see for myself the level of the Lake today.  Very depressing.  Lake is down at least 35 feet from max nad still well below the  valve they let water out with. I have photos which I will post.

To bad they can not net the fish in the lake and transport them to Ralphine or Spring, not sure they will last until the rain.  They should be tossing Fish Chow out there or something.

I sent my email to BASS Conservation and hope everyone else does so as well.

I recieved a call last night from Mike Landy. It looks as if the ball is now rolling to help Ilsanjo. Please send your letters to him and Chris Horton as this sqeaky wheel just might get some grease.

Who is willing to help with habitat restoration. I would like to start a team of SCBBBC members and non-members who would like to work as a Federation group on this project. Im not sure what we'll be able to do, but I would like to know that we have people ready to help.

I just got home and found a message from Robert Digitale, he wrote the P.D. article this spring, he said he had been contacted by the "state bass anglers society" ? Any way wanted to speak to me again on the sanjo thing, so any info or news you may have pass it along so I can get it to the paper.

Here are the promised pics.  I am in for any habitat restoration.  Keep in mind in the first picture at this time of the year I would normally be up to my knees in the water.  I have often launched at this same spot in the spring and been up to my chest.  Everyone needs to write their letter now.  We still have time before the rains come to help restore habitat or do whatever we can. How about some kind of raffle for a big ticket item boat, car, vacation trip, we can get donated, and sell tickets with proceeds to go towards restocking?   We should be able to get some of our past members to help assist with publicity.  Jimmy Reese took tons of our money at this place.  Time to give some back.

Hey Mikie,
Remember when we used to think that the spot of your last picture with the rocks had a old shack below it-weird to see thats all that was there.Just food for thought; now would be a good time to place structure into the lake-more habitat for all fish. Let me know if I can help.

Lots of laydowns. As many as humanly possible. Plenty of cinderblocks to secure them to the bottom with too. Plant willows if possible. Anybody got bamboo??
In recent years the fish up there were stunted. 'Sanj could use a plant of golden shiners and shad as well as bass. In fact, planting shiners and shad and giving them a year to propagate THEN adding bass would be a big help.
Oh yeah, I'm willing to help out as well. IF I can get there. I'd need a ride.
