Ive fished with the same set of caddis fins in tubes and toons since I was 13. Junk in your book; top shelf, cream of the crop in mine...theyre bad @$$. Super light weight and short.

I figured it was possible. I have tried doing what you said about getting close to the edge of your seat and never got moving very much. How fast do you go forward in relation to backwards? Maybe I cant go forward because I have Caddis fins, which btw work pretty good for me going backward.

Well I went to Sports Chalet with my waders and got my fins.
Not one of the regular diver's fins fit my size 11 boots so I had to get the Outcast kick fins.
I've been reading that some people have been having problems with them coming loose.
Anyone out there have had this problem?  And if so, what did you do about it?

Thanks
Bert.

I use the same fins when I'm in my Fish Cat tube and have never had that problem,it's been 5 years now since I've had them.

Jon - I like speed and efficiency. My test was when I was actually in shape and my Dad I were in tubes at Yorty Creek. He was barely kicking in his dive fins and I was kicking hard in my caddis fins from about the middle of Yorty. Well, he made it to the beach area almost 200 yards ahead of me. He is old (but probably in better shape than anybody here except Fred) and I was still young and in shape back then.

You can ask the old guys who knew me back then...you couldn't beat me back then with my dive fins and legs of steel!  Now I could have a trolling motor and you guys would all probably still beat me....
