Hello all, I've met a few members out and about and I'm hoping to join the spring lake tourney coming up, and hopefully participate most of next year. This will be my first tournament ever so I want to be clear on this rule. My question is the "note" part. Once we have a fish in the livewell, we can't fish until bringing it to the weigh in? Or can we keep a limit of 5 in the livewell until the weigh in? Just don't want to make an ass out of myself.

26. Transporting of Live Fish – Also called running. Scbbbc has been granted a special permit from the DFG to transport live fish in an approved livewell (see rule #9 livewells) from one location on the tournament lake to the weigh in area. This is a privilege to Scbbbc and all running anglers must have a special permit in there precession during these special events. Note: you may leave an area your fishing during a tournament to fish another area only if you do not have fish in your possession. You can however return to the weigh in area and continue to fish if you do have fish in your possession.

Welcome Iturnbolts....this rule applies to when we can transport fish via vehicle......Clear Lake tournaments are the only ones we get a permit to transport fish back to the weigh-in by vehicle with the proper aporoved livewell.....all others we blast off & weigh in all together at the same place.

I hate to be the one saying this but it looks like spring lake is out of the question.  we tried really hard to get a permit but thing has change and they are making it difficult for us.  so the officers have decided to hold it at Beacon Harbor.  I think the name has change to piper something.  I'll get more details but most likely it will be there.

come out it will be fun.  Piper slough is protected water with no wake zone, you can also go out to franks as well.
