I know this keeps getting asked every time we fish Sonoma because of the longer cutoff, but please let me know if this is correct.

For the upcoming Night Tournament on Saturday, July 14, we can prefish up until Sunday at 1:59 pm on July 8 (that is the Sunday preceding the tournament).

Midnight is written as "12am" which would imply that it's in the morning. Therefore, it should be at the start of the day.

On the other hand, both
Dictionary.com and the Oxford Dictionary define it as "twelve o'clock at night".

I believe we have always gone with allowing people to fish up until the end of the day on the Monday prior to the event.

While we are on the subject...Is the pre-fishing cutoff specific to Yorty Creek or the entire Lake?  For example, could one launch from the Public Launch ramp on the main lake and fish around there prior to the tournament?

Personally I think the area is plenty big to fish prior to a tourny. Maybe 3 day cutoff. Only problem is if your planning on rowing to cherry arm then its a part of the tournament. Just playing devils advocate. I say go ahead.

Ok, i think i get it. Sorry for any confusion. Just wanted to know if i should leave the pole at home in case Im out there hanging out  on the main lake sometime that week. Matt D and I were talking about how it might be fun to fish this event so just wanted to clarify.
