(A few weeks back I had written a short blurb similar to this one on the Forum, but it seems that I must not have done something right and it disappeared into etherspace.) This is just a short but heart-felt thanks to the Club members and everyone else who have been so kind and supportive during our time of grief. The response we received from Todd’s friends, acquaintances, and even those who did not know him was truly amazing and serves as a wonderful reflection of the kindness and compassion of people everywhere. The generosity of so many in giving to the memorial fund for Michelle and the kids was overwhelming. We wish we could have written everyone to express our thanks, but sadly that was impossible. We give special thanks to those SCBBBC members who, with boats and float tubes, came out to LakeSonoma last month to join us in the dispersion of Todd’s ashes. It was a beautiful day in a lovely, tranquil setting-- the bass were biting and within a short period Kai landed five bass, including the last which he hooked himself (Dave hooked the first four). There could not have been a more fitting tribute to Todd: his ashes at rest and his son catching fish at his favorite lake.
