If you ARE really so good, you would have a car, a boat and sponsors that would be paying your way. Look at Skeet or Jimmy Reese. Jimmy was our Prez for a long while and has kicked serious bass (and won many boats). Did he get beat every now and then? Of course.

If you are serious and are willing to back up the talk you've been given, show up at every tournament, become Angler of the Year (who was not nearly as serious as when he is fishing at other tournaments that have points involved!) and win a few while you are at it. You might have beat one AOY but a few more did not show up. I'm now more determined than ever to show up to more than half the events this year and possibly make another run at the title (AOY). We'll make a side bet at every tournament (if you're willing) and we'll see who's on top at the end of the year. What are you willing to put up?

u got a extra bucks bag tube i can borrow, if u are fishing fountain grove sunday and i get a tube i will make a 20$ side bet. u also said u would give me a hour advantage i will take that up with u at Spring Lake if u wanted

Miguel, you are the best forum fisherman ever! You put out the bait and all these guys ate it up! You hooked 'em all with your smacktalk! Hope you can back it up again...

Miguel,

$20? *sigh* If it is allowed (it is a BucksBag "Owners" tourney)and that's all you want to do, cool. I'm spending about $50-60 on gas just to get up there so I was hoping if we can do this whenever it will be more like $100 or something. What do you have to lose if you're going to win?

Funny, the hour thing was written by my buddy Binh but I can honor that if I'm able to free myself for a "challenge" tournament. I would think you would tell me you wouldn't need it, especially at Spring where you fish regularly. We'll see.

So, are you going to try to fish the season? Are you up to it? Are you going to put $20 up as a side with me at every tournament? Are you willing to go higher? I think a couple more guys would like a side with you too. You could buy a car/truck if you win all season long!

Just make sure to show up at Sonoma this Feb. I'll even make you an offer of you can put in your $20 and I'll go $40 if you beat me there. Even if you don't get a boat in time for the tournament Sunday, I would like to meet the person talking here.

Todd

I bet I can loss with all these rods and gear and I don't even know how to catch bass yet. All I need is a Rostertail, Porkrind, and a Hula Popper and maybe some small sinkers for drop shotting my Hula Popper. Im not even going to make a side bet. Im the worst and I have backed it up. HA HA LOL Oh yea baby.

This is going to be another great season with the SCBBBC I can feel if in my bone's.

Rich

Every one must launch together as this is how it's done with the big boy's, sorry homie. You can use ping pong paddles for Oars if you want, don't laugh, Jimmy Reese used them back in the day.

Good, this talk on the 'Grove will be answered. Miguel, I'm still open to a side with you. If $20 is all you can handle, so be it. Let me know.

Wow, I'm actually excited about this. Been such a long time since fishing there. Can't wait.

Todd

Dude, if you know and am that confident in your ability to fish the lake (remember, I haven't fished it in about 5 years) my bet should be easy money to you. You sound like you know it like the back of your hand. C'mon, what's $20? You're going to get your limit in what, an hour or two? I'll guarantee you I'll probably take all day. I haven't even fished in 2 full months! Look for some change in the sofa and you'll come up with the $20.

On another note, is everyone willing to put in a side for big fish? We'll go easy on Miguel and just say $10 each for that one. Takers?

Todd

I've got $10 on it also, and Todd if you have any jigs left after Rich and Bill get at'em I'd like to snag a few too. No worries if it doesn't happen though.
