[/B] Here is the latest on the Zebra Mussel Stickers for all Northern California float tubers and SCBBBC members who plan on fishing the Highland Springs tournament.

You must print out and fill out the attached form completely and send it to the following address. If you don't have a printer simply go to some ones house and use there's. Or you could go to one of the inspection sites the day before the tournament and get your sticker. Insert a note that you are planning to fish with the SCBBBC at Highland Springs on April 20th. They will send you your sticker with out inspecting your boat. This will be done on the honor system.

Ok Rich, Ive sent my application out today. Thank you for the information. Q: If I get another, new kickboat, is it transferable? Or do I have to get a sticker for each kickboat? And, is Bucksbag still giving us a discount on boats?

The Highland Springs tourney is the only one that you are mailing in your inspection paper work. There for your only getting a sticker through the mail for the boat you'll be using at Highland. Anything over and above fishing Highland you'll have to follow they're rules.

That sounds a little redundant doesnt it? A sticker ONLY for highland springs? I thought the website said for all of Lake county .. ie Clear Lake, Blue Lakes and Highland Springs. Or did I read that wrong?

Your not getting it. You need to read all the rules very carefully. First you will need to have your boat inspected before every fishing trip on all those lake county waters after Highland Springs. Second, the sticker your trying to get through the mail is a privlage your getting just for Highland Springs do to the fact that there will be no open inspection site's for you to go to on April 20th qat 5:00AM. Third, if you have any more questions please call me.
I hope this clears it up for you for now.

So I spoke to Rich a bit ago about the inspection sticker for Lake County and after all the talks, I asked what would it take and would it be possible for him or any club director to get certified in inspecting our pontoons (just for tournament purposes only).
Rich, I really don't see a problem with someone getting certified, but of course that will all be up to them. Thanks Rich.

Im getting it Rich. I have to have the boat inspected before every tournement in lake county. First, I DID read the rules, otherwise I would not be asking all these questions ... Its kind of like the DFG person who says that live wells are mandatory I guess ...
Q: If its not transferable, then its a sticker that we put on the kick boat right?

Q: After each tournement who is going to inspect the boats before the next one?. If I read the papers right, its all on the honor system ... Am I right? Or am I wrong? On the application I filled out it asked it the boat in question was stored out of the water ... Fell free to call me and explain this to me I would appreciate it.
