 All right all,
Since we will not be on the water till the 18th of April for "The Duel in the Delta" "KICK BOAT STYLE!!!". I was planning on putting together a spring T-shoot in the shadows of Giraffe's and Lion's. I chose Sunday the 28th because some will be on the water at Berry for the FPT and it will be warmer with the chance of big girls in the flats. All are welcome to join. I was thinkin a $20 buy in with a $10 Big Fish, winner take all. What do you all think?

if its still practice slay on, thurs-sun though I wouldnt get in those guys way at all. Ive moved for guys fishin ABA or whatever before, so Im for sure gonna back off and watch if an elite guy came through fishin for what $100,000? Yeah, they can have'em.

Does move go as a yes vote?

Great question D.J.,I don't know.On one side we should give them the respect they deserve, especially since they are in a tourney,on the other hand we're just little guys without the mobility they have,I would think technectly if your there first it's yours,if you choose to give it up it would be out of respect,it's not like your in a big boat though, like I said,I don't know, just my 2 cents.

I would move. Most of those guys would do the same if you were in a tourney!!!!

I think I would avoid being there at all. I would go fish somewhere else altogether and maybe show up for the weigh-in. No need to put myself in a position to be looking like a d1ck for just being there if I don't have to. I think I'm gonna dust off my pontoon and hit Highland Friday morning. Either that, or go play golf and then check out the weigh-in. Clear Lake will still be there after Sunday, and it will be a lot less crowded.

Here's my dilema. I will be out there friday. I know the area's i plan on fishin will have them coming in. I dont want to get in there way and as Chris said movin aint easy. I think i will wave them in and let them fish through

If I was fun fishing I would let any tournament fisherman fish through.  If I was tournament fishing I would stand my ground for local club guys fishing a tournament.  Even if I was tournament fishing I would give my spot up for the BASS or FLW guys cause that's how they support their family.

if it was a tourney like some of u are going to next weekend at CL and stuck a 8 pounder in front of them i would sell it to them for 1 thousand dolllars a pound straight up,  id definitely hold the spot down though cause if u where there first its first come first serve

i would see how they approached me...ask for an autograph, and then barter some tackle and apparel for the fishing hole

if they dont want to cooperate, i just might start minnow fishing right in front of them...

I agree with Dave. I also think that floating around and just kinda watching how they do it would be fun in itself. After all we watch them on TV and now we will get to see them doing what they do best live. Of course Ill back off and let them have a spot. I wont move far fast but Ill move none the less!

If one of those BASS guys came up on my spot, I'de chuck a Uncle Manny Minnow at them and tell them to get lost or else and I might even go Ike on them! Who the hell do they think they are fishing in my area on my spot? Just kidding, I would let the BASS & FLW guys fish through and I would get out of the way for sure. I'm with Travis on this, but it is fun while fishing and watching one of the big names fish by you.

Years ago when the big boys came, I went up on a practice day in my round tube and I had Roland Martin, Skeet and Larry Nixon fish around me while I was fishing willow point. I thought it was perty cool to see them on the water. Me in my little round tube wasn't bothering them at all. It would be kind of fun the tell KVD to go find his own fish, LOL Just kidding.

I would move, sure, but ... at one clear lake tournement a few years ago, there was this pro ... he saw I was paddling to a spot, and shot right in on my, cast twice before I could get there, caught what looked like a 8 pounder ... bigger than anything Ive ever caught, and then looked at me and threw it back in the water ... he said something about floattubers ruining his fishing and then sped off, leaving me to flounder in his wake and missing a tournement winning fish.. Not to say that I would have caught it or won the tournement, but, he took that away from me. I always try and give boats a wide berth, or ask if I can fish through ... just saying ...
