Russian River Steelhead
I fish monte rio south of bridge. I've always been told single barbless hook. Usually just a bead but last year they were striking my pinky worms. Nothing big came my way but awesome seeing them swim around my legs by the hundreds. I time the schools 2hrs after high tide. But the sand bar needs to be open, is it?

bellyboatvacation

I don't  know were that is but if you like that scenary It's a must to see the beautiful land of lakes and volcanoes were my family is from. I'm talking about Nicaragua, especially Granada. 100% tropical, Lake Nicaragua is fresh water and full of one of a kind species you'll only find there. Saw Sharks, Rainbow bass(Guapote good eating) just to name a couple. Stay on your own island or you can check out the mambo tours canopy tour were you climb 200 yr old trees and ride zip lines from one to another above a coffee plantation. Night life, Fresh food and super cool folks. Many europeans go there. Just a suggestion.

new diving job and a case of the willies

That scares the heck out of me as I fish mainly with my 3yr. old son at lakes and ponds in the Petaluma area. There is nothing funny about gators in our waters crankbait guy, and I hope your buddy ate the gator and didn't release it.

Spring Lake & Craws

I use a 5/0 EWG on the full craw, or I cut the bait at the first line with a 4/0 Football head. Caught a nice one today with Green Pumpkin Candy this way. Go get 'em fellas!

Spring Lake & Craws
Boy o' Boy had a great day at Spring lake yesterday. Got there about 4p with my older brother and family who has yet to see me fish. Began the pressure by telling me he drove all the way out here and my bait better work Well right away there a bunch of kids trapping craws near the boat launch and in the tules. I check 'em out and they're bright red. Perfect match for the tile red and black flake Craw Father  It's shallow around there so I Texas rigged and bullet weighted. First flip off into the stacks of rocks and fish on! Nice little guy and my bro is fired up.Try a few more flips from on top of the rocks into to the trees and BAM! A nice one with some weight to it! Nothing for an hour after and then as were leaving I pulled in another little guy from the tules. Felt great to show the family what I've been working on and that they catch fish big and small.
